Hello Lovelies & Happy New Year!
I would like to thank each and everyone of you for taking the time out to read Diary of a Chic Mommy. I truly appreciate all of your comments, follows and kind words you have left on this blog. You are the motivation that keeps me determined and wanting to continue to move forward! Who would have thought that my little space on the world wide web would have brought me so many opportunities and new found friendships. I’m definitely looking forward to what 2013 has in store for me.
2012 was great year for Diary of a Chic Mommy. I never imagined that I would have so many great connections when I started my blog, but it has been a true blessing because I have met some great people through social media. Some recaps from 2012 include my trip to New York for the Rock & Republic Fashion Show sponsored by Kohl’s, attended BlogHer12 here and here, became a member of Kiyonna’s Blogger Brigade and being featured for Mother’s Day. I also attended Texas Style Council and met some great blogger friends. My friend Krystel & I from Army Wife 101 created & completed the 30 Day Military Spouse Photoaday Challenge. I was also able to team up with Verizon Wireless as a Brand Ambassador and with Smooth Fitness as a Smooth Blogger to work towards my weigh-loss goals.
As I decided on some of my favorite outfits over the last year, I look back on some of the things that I wore like what the heck was I thinking, but overall I have learned a lot, but this is MY blog and My style so “It is What it Is.” But seriously some things just did not work well together and it takes YOU to have a visual to look back on them and see what worked and what did not work. Here are some of my favorite looks from 2012.
I’m so thankful for the many opportunities that my blog has provided me with in 2012 and looking forward to what 2013 has to bring. I’m sure it will be an even better year. For 2013 I will continue to focus on a healthier me. Which means I will continue to work towards #cleaneating/healthier eating habits and exercising…just a healthier lifestyle.
