It was nonstop fun at BlogHer and I hated seeing it come to an end. If you missed my first BlogHer Recap you can catch it here. On Saturday morning we headed to the Expo Hall to mingle and conversate it up with brands. It was a fun-filled day of networking, pampering, conversating, and partying. There were so many great brands that I was able to chat with and I’m looking forward to partnering with those brands.

I sampled this delicious dish prepared by Hillshire Farm. It consisted of the New Gourmet Creations Chicken Apple with Gouda Cheese (smoked sausage), with fresh spinach, onions, mushrooms, green peppers and thyme and it was the best ever. Since then I have purchased other Hillshire smoked sausage and have prepared myself a similar dish. I have yet to find the chicken sausage yet and have tried 4 different stores already. I’m assuming that it isn’t sold yet here in Texas, but I will definitely keep checking. The chicken smoked sausage just gives a much better flavor. You can find them here.

Later that night we got dressed to head to the Naughty Monkey Shoe Party (which we never made it to) and ended up mingling and having dinner at a nearby restaurant called Astro’s (a whole nother story lol). Our dinner conversation consisted of blog talk with wine and non stop laughter. Although the food was not the best I still enjoyed myself meeting and chatting it up some of the most down to earth people bloggers that I had just met and it seemed that we had know each other for years. I had the pleasure of meeting the oh so lovely Eve from Socamom, sweet Elle from Cleverly Changing, and the bold, edgy and talented Toy from Talkaholica and these ladies were each humble and so much fun to be around…we had a blast!! I would say overall the fun that I had with each of these beautiful ladies was the best highlight of my trip to BlogHer. Yes I think it’s important to connect with brands and attend classes to better your blog, but the most important part is to have enjoy yourself and have fun while networking and that we did. I love each and everyone of these ladies and definitely looking forward to hanging with them again at BlogHer13 in Chicago and in other times we can get together before then to catch up.

The fun didn’t stop there. On Saturday thanks to my friend Krystel (Army Wives 101) I was able to attend the Lifetime Mom Bloggers Retreat at Townhouse Spa for manicures, pedicures and more conversation with other blogger friends and we were also video taped discussing our favorite Lifetime shows. We were also spoiled with wine, cupcakes, delicious strawberries and photo booth fun.

My photobooth fun at the Lifetime Bloggers Retreat. I know I look ridiculously crazy, but I enjoyed every minute of it LOL. I couldn’t for the life of me figure out exactly where the camera was..I know slow right, but all in all I had so much fun in the booth even if I do look silly especially in the last photo.

This is the 3rd conference that I have attended and this was by far my most favorite of the three. It was well organized and everything went smoothly. I will say that if you plan on getting the best experience out of the conference as a whole I recommend not planning on attending any other parties or events during the conference because you will find that the times will conflict with one another. It didn’t matter to me one way or another. I enjoyed attending the events outside of the conference and still being able to fit in what I could for the conference itself. Overall I hate that it came to an end and I again look forward to next year. Again I took so many pics during the conference that it would be almost impossible for me to post them all up here on my blog so check out my FB Fanpage for more.
