Its’s been a while since I last did a What I Wore post, but I guess when your so busy living life you just don’t have the chance to photograph it all, but I’m working on it. I do post more outfit pics on Instagram much more often than the blog so be sure to follow me there if you aren’t already. Between my husband being Commissioned, family visiting from out of town to preparing for our upcoming move in September (life of the military….more on that in a later post) things have been kinda hectic lately. But I have a few things planned for the summer with the family and I will be able to take more pictures for the blog while the kids are out from school. What I Wore: Leopard Jumpsuit~Dots (old) | Nude Wedges~Aldo (old) | Assorted Bangles | Nameplate Necklance~ONecklace | Watch~Michael Kors
In the midst of life being so busy I still have been able to keep going on my fitness journey and work out more regularly again and I’ve been very consistent. I’ve been working out 4-5 days a week on a regular since mid-February and I can say that I’m so proud of my results so far…now on to the details about my look. I’ve had this jumpsuit for some time now and it was buried in the back of my closet. I was so happy when I tried it on and even more in love with the way it fits me now. When I purchased it a few years ago I was much heavier and I would never have worn this jumpsuit without pairing it with a blazer (last seen here), but since I’ve been working out and seeing results I don’t mind doing so now and I’m much more comfortable in my skin than I was before. Don’t get me wrong I’ve always been happy with myself, but there’s always room for improvement. One thing for certain is these hips aren’t going anywhere…they are definitely here to stay no matter what, but I will continue on this journey going forward to be a better and healthier me. I’m definitely not where I want to be, but I’m not where I was before I started.
I wore this outfit to dinner with my family to celebrate Father’s Day for my hubby. I love the simplicity of this jumpsuit. It’s very comfortable, light and perfect for any season. I just kept it simple with minimal accessories and paired it with nude wedges purchased from Aldo years ago. The thing about this look is nothing I’m wearing was recently purchased and I’ve had for a while so I surprised myself by shopping my closet and re-visiting outfits that I wore in the past that I may have forgot about and just wearing it differently. I must do this more often instead of always wanting to spend.
