Hello Lovelies,
I hope you had a lovely weekend and a fabulous Valentine’s Day. My husband and I were finally able to spend our Valentine Day together on Saturday. With our kids hectic schedules with both gymnastics and basketball we almost don’t have anytime during the week to spend time with one another because we are constantly on the go taking them back and forth to practice. So over the weekend since there were no basketball games or gymnastic meets we were able to go to get spend some time alone. Before we left for the concert I prepared dinner for us c/o of H-E-B. To celebrate Love Day our dinner consisted of T-bone steak with sauteed mushrooms & onions, baked potato, and my favorite asparagus (I used this recipe for the asparagus minus the Parmesan cheese). We also had Barefoot Bubbly Pink Mascato…I must say so myself that everything was yummy :). At first we planned on going out for dinner, but it was even better relaxing and having dinner at home. Often times we neglect spending time together like we should, and it’s important that as a married couple that even though the kids occupy so much of our life that we have to make sure to fit in some time alone more often.
H-E-B began with one store in 1905, nestled in Kerrville, in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. They’ve always believed in the value of hard work and the importance of taking care of people. The staff is awesome and they offer customers the best service with low prices and the best value.
After dinner we headed to the Love & Happiness concert at the Alamadome which featured The Isley Brothers, Tank, Ginuwine and comedian Michael Colyar. It was good to hear some of the good ole oldies and reminisce on old times…definitely a night full of entertainment. I must admit it’s been a while since I’ve enjoyed myself like that with the hubby and it almost felt like old times. Sorry in advance for the bluriness of our outfits, but it was late and we were in a hurry and ended up using my iPhone for pics and the night pics always suck. I made sure that I wore red to celebrate Valentine’s Day and my hubby looked pretty dapper with his velvet blazer….my love!
Thanks for Reading

The hubby and I didn’t even get to do anything… were moving and with two kids it can be a bit crazy. You and your husband look spectacular!

I think it’s so cool that you live in San ANtonio. My parents live there and went to this concert last weekend too! You look really pretty and the food looks delish!
