What I Wore: {Red Denim & Royal Blue}

Red & Royal Blue7

Hello Lovelies!!

Being that I’m curvy I didn’t think I could pull off wearing colored denim. I have seen the look often on others, but I didn’t think they would flatter my shape and I’m proud to say that I have proved myself wrong and have been wearing more colored denim looks here a lot lately . So whoever says curvy girls can’t wear colored denim…this is definitely not the case.

This is what I wore for Valentine’s Day and yes I know the post is somewhat late, but better late than never Right?! So I wasn’t to fond of the look because it appeared a bit flaggish, but then again I kinda liked it lol. I don’t think the white tank underneath the blazer gave the look any justice. Idk but anyhoo I’m really feeling colored denim and have been trying to rock them in many different ways. I wanted to go for simplicity and not go over the top considering that on Valentine’s Day it was a little warm, but by the time we went to dinner it had cooled down some. My husband loved the look so that’s a good thing..at least to me anyways. I paired it with my favorite wedges that I snagged about a month or so ago from DSW and they were only $23.99 after I used discounts and membership rewards. I love the way the front of the wedges show off your foot as well as the peep toe which makes this shoe so versatile and can be worn for any season. I find myself buying things that are season-less and that can be worn anytime of the year, especially since living here in San Antonio and in Hawaii, that way I can get more wear out of my clothes with the weather being so warm from time to time.

What I’m Wearing:
Red Denim Jeans~NY&CO or HERE | White Tank~Old Navy | Royal Blue Blazer~Eloquii | Peeptoe Wedges~DSW | Red Bag~Michael Kors “Greyson Satchel” also HERE | Bangles, Watch~Target, JCPenney| Necklace~Buffalo Exchange | Earrings~Forever21+ (old)

    I am not a fan of colored denim at all but you sure pulled it off very well! I just LOVE the red on you. The whole ensemble is so cute. I think colored denim would look stupid on me though ha! I am so plain it’s not even funny!

    Those shoes are awesome and I love how you paired red and royal blue together. The white is just the rest the eyes need. And did I say I love those shoes!???

    This outfit is progressive and hot. Love it, it fits right everywhere. To me…the cut of those boots are better than bare shoulders, deep v necks…all of that!
