What I Wore: {Color Blocking with Polka Dots}

Hello Lovelies,

I have been really into the color blocking lately and have been inspired by a few looks that I recently pinned on Pinterest. So I thought I would actually take some risk and try color blocking paired with polka dots and needless to say I absolutely adore this look. This is by far one of my favorite outfits so far and I really stepped outside of my comfort zone for this look. I simply love the colors paired together and in this case the polka dot was the perfect add. Color blocking is one of those trends that will be around for a while to come and I’m loving it. What isn’t there to love about color blocking..it’s so retro and the perfect way of experimenting with color. I like the idea of pairing two bright pieces together that actually compliment one another..this equals PERFECTION. In this case the turquoise jeans and pink blazer worked well tied in with the polka dot top. I thought I would keep it simple by pairing it with the gray boots and handbag. At first I was going to go with my nude wedges, but I actually think these grey wedges went together better. I have a few other color blocking ideas that I can’t wait to try out.
