So this weekend the weather was pretty warm here in Texas and I’m sure this will sound a little weird, but I’m going to say it anyways lol. A part of me isn’t ready for the summer weather as of yet. I will admit I absolutely love the winter season especially since I was deprived of it from living in Hawaii for the last 3 years. The weather here in San Antonio wasn’t much different than the Hawaii weather (minus the few colder days we had back in December and January); although I could only imagine how hot it gets here in the summer months and as a matter of fact, it seems like we are nearing the summer months now as I speak. The weather has been a bit humid here lately. The thing that I love about the cold weather is being able to wear winter clothes and layering up. I didn’t want it to end so soon, but it still wasn’t the way I really wanted it to be. It wasn’t like the typical cold weather I am used to from the winter months in St. Louis. So I’m sure you all may think I’m a bit weird, but it is what it is and it’s just one of the things I love..odd as it may sound 
Aside from the winter I still love spring and summer as well b/c then you can embrace your bright colors and play around with color a lot more. So what do you prefer summer-like weather or the cold..make sure to let me know in a comment below?!?!
Here are some picutures of my husband and I over the weekend. We had a family nite out as we normally do every weekend to get the kids out the house and enjoy themselves. I guess you can say that I took advantage of the summer weather a bit this weekend with this cropped lace tee. I’m just loving this blue cropped tee with lace accents. The sleeves of this soft, slouchy tee was a perfect weekend look paired with jeggings. Lately I have been into buying oversized tunics and drape off the shoulder tees that are great for the summer months. Let me know what you guys think of this look!!!

Girl, NO. I live in Chicago & the cold weather is not all that! lol Can you believe it’s still 30s & 40s this week?! This past weekend was so cold & windy, it was awful =( But you know what they say…the grass is always greener right? you & the hubby are too cute!
